Hi, I’m Jonathan!

It’s a pleasure to meet you. A born and raised Calgarian who grew up on a farm just west of the city, I am passionate about Calgary and surrounding areas, and enjoy building genuine relationships with clients and neighbours. During Calgary’s mid-2000s real estate boom, I began buying, renovating, and selling homes—and realized there was a real opportunity to elevate the client experience.

By 2015, Popowich & Company was born. Over the years, I’ve built a business on a foundation of old fashioned values, strong ethics, integrity and follow-through. Intentionally coupling this with a new school approach to the industry, Popowich & Company executes highly personalized service, an aggressive use of technology, and extreme transparency with clients.

Years of flipping houses have given me the ability to walk into a home and easily determine what improvements can be made to get clients the highest return on investment.

My background ranges from new home construction and renovation, to investing, development and agriculture. From a previous career of 13 years as a professional firefighter to running a successful construction company, I bring a breadth of experience and diversity to every transaction.

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my wife and four children at the lake or ski hill, mountain biking, and being active in the community.
